Creating an art business that sells comfort.

I’m taking the leap, and I’m so very excited.

There is a beautiful feeling of comfort within as I embark on this new phase of my artistic life.

For the past few years I’ve been aiming my art and writing at the publishing industry, with the hopes of finding a way to contribute to supporting my family financially that way.

But publishing relies on gatekeepers. On timing, on trends, on financial considerations over heart based ones.

So I’m taking my precious journey back into my own hands. I know what I want to gift the world: my essence. Peace. Comfort. Love.

I can do that by selling my art and writing independently, and I’m so excited to do just that.

I’ll begin on Etsy, but in truth: I harbour a soft, sweet dream to stand behind a market table and smile as a sweet little person cradles my life’s work to their chest. My heart glows at the thought of that utter beauty.

It will be a slow process of creating a little body of work, and then printing and preparing to sell, but I’m on my way.

I’ll be documenting the process both here and on YOU TUBE, so I’ll let you know once I have a video up if you’d like to follow along.

It’s been a dream for a long, long time to be able to offer you, my beautiful bloggy family, access to my writing in beautiful print, so I also hope to make some poetry available for purchase on Etsy too.

My heart knows this is right.
