I’ve just been drawing pillow cases. Joyful pillowcases. Sad pillowcases. Cross pillow cases.
Is this really what the world has come to?
Actually, it’s a lot of fun drawing pillowcases. The sweet darlings feel as though they could have been my friends if I were a little less real and they were a little less pencil drawn.
It’s a drawing exercise to help me learn posture and movement. It’s much easier drawing moving pillows because they don’t have heads and limbs to get in the way.
In other news, today I found out some art pieces I entered into an illustration competition didn’t make it through to the next round. I really adored these particular illustrations, so I was sorry for their missed opportunity. I cried.
I should have entered the pillow cases.
That would have shown ’em.
