Sometimes, I feel alone.

Even when I’m surrounded by people…

I’m not really.

I’m alone, drifting in a rose coloured world of wonder.

I’m not sad about it— feeling alone, that is.

It’s a beautiful place, this world I live in.

I’m just saying:

The world of a dreamy, wide-open soul is sometimes lonely.

Wonderous.

But lonely.

In this world, I sometimes feel like a teeny tiny sailboat trying to float in an ocean of mud and I wonder: ‘Where are the other boats like me?’

Maybe one day I’ll find them.

Maybe one day there’ll be more boats like me.

Maybe.

One day.

Sorry, Michael! I just realised I didn’t reply. I must have been in a hurry. I’m glad you liked this. Thanks for reading! 🙂

There’s been times when I felt alone among a group but learned how to love myself. Nice!

That’s wonderful. ☺️❤️ And yes, so true. All you need is ‘you’. Everyone else is just a bonus. 💕

I often feel this way, too, but I get seasick, so I’m probably on a tiny little island. It’s a lovely place for dreaming, but a dreadful place to be when I want to share my dreams. If you ever come across a speck of land, I’ll be waving.

Aww. I like the island thing! Especially if you’ve got a camp fire with marshmallows. 😃😃😃

Definitely! Nothing beats a marshmallow toasted over an open fire.
