I’ve had my computer snatched up by a nine year old, and I’m writing this on my phone. It’s never the same, writing from a tiny little screen, without that perfect ‘tap of keys’ feeling.

The kids had their cross country at school, today. It felt so good to be there for them, and alone, actually. My little one was at home with dad and her badly timed gastro. She was sad to have missed the race.

Once again, the richness of motherhood is shining at me from all angles. Pride for my older two. Concern and care for the baby of the clan.

I love it, and it overwhelms me sometimes.

Surely those are signs of a life well lived.
